Here you will find photos of nearly all past and present orphans that have graced our gates.

This is Angel (closest) with Rocky, the first orphans we got. They came from 3 Fingers. Sadly, Angel was sick and died after a few days but Rocky went on to a new home. |

This is Rocky, a couple weeks after we lost Angel. He came around good and is doing well in his new home. |

This is Cody, an orphan we got shortly after we got Rocky and Angel. He, too, went on to a new home, the same one Rocky went to. Cody is also from the 3 Fingers HMA. |

This is Charlie, a colt from the Kiger HMA. He was adopted locally, then later sold and trained by our friend Karen Jackson-Simmons. Charlie was born in 2003 and I believe he is looking for a forever home now as a trail horse with someone who wants to take the time he needs. |

This is a little colt from Riddle we got the same time we got Charlie. He was older than Charlie and able to go to the regular adoption. |

This is a little filly from Riddle that came in with the colt above. She, too, went to the regular Kiger adoption and found a home as well. |

This is Buck, from Murderer's Creek HMA. He came to us just hours old but sadly, because he never got his colostrum when he was born, and we didn't have a source for any, we lost him after just a few days. |

This is Trixie, a beautiful little filly found injured in the wild from the South Steens HMA. She had internal injuries and even though we brought her in the house and had IV's hooked to her, we lost her. |

This is Buddy, also from Murderer's Creek HMA. He was a few weeks old when he came here and went on to be a big, strong colt in his new home. |

This is a little colt from Beaty's Butte that was very down and sick when he came here. We tried to bring him back but he was just too far gone by the time we got him. |

This is Grace, a filly from Beaty's Butte; she was 3-4 weeks old when she came to us. She went on to a good home over in the Willamette Valley. |

This is Dolly, also a filly from Beaty's Butte, probably 3-4 weeks old as well, who came at the same time as Grace and left with Grace to a new home in the valley. |

This is Little Joe, an orphan colt from the Cold Springs HMA. He was 1-2 months old when he came here. He went on to a new home and was doing well the last we heard. |

This is Karma, also from Cold Springs HMA who was about 6 weeks old when she was orphaned in a freak accident. We adopted her and later sold her to a friend in NC, where she is now and doing well under saddle. |

This is Jasper, a colt from Stinkingwater HMA. It's believed he contracted some sort of poison, possibly while still in the womb. He lived about 11 days before his system shut down on him and we lost him. |

This is Sweetheart, who was a few days old when she came. Many didn't think she would live, including the Vet, but she had a strong will to live and fooled them all! She is in her new home in WA and is doing very well! |

This is Takoda, a colt from Riddle HMA; he was a couple months old maybe when he came. He went back to the corrals where he was adopted and is doing well. |

This is Jackie, from Jackie's Butte HMA, whom we adopted in 2008. She was a couple months old when she came here, just too young to wean. |

This is Diego, a colt from Riddle HMA who came in just after Takoda and Jackie. He too went back to the corrals where he was adopted out. |

This is Hot Shot, from Murderer's Creek HMA. He was about 36 hours old when he came. He took to the bottle almost right away and grew big and strong. We sent him out to a foster home, who ended up adopting him! |

This is Red, from Beaty's Butte, who came in shortly after Hot Shot. He, too, was only 1-2 days old but he took to a bottle immediately and we adopted him. |

This is Jimbo, who came just after Red did and is from Jackie's Butte. He was about 2 weeks old and was orphaned when his dam had to be put down. He went back out to the corrals to be adopted. |
